The Mobile Origin silicone strap is designed for both the standard and ECG versions of WHOOP 5.0. It fastens with a metal pin through holes that fit wrist circumferences from 152 to 196 mm, and the free end tucks into the figure-8 loop, so it never sticks out. Designed for WHOOP 5.0

The zinc alloy frame is shaped for the WHOOP 5.0 sensor and fits both the standard version and the version with ECG. The strap is not designed for older WHOOP generations, so before you buy, make sure you have a fifth-generation WHOOP. The sensor is sold separately: just fit the one you already use into the frame. The underside of the sensor stays uncovered, so its sensing elements sit directly against your skin.

Figure-8 clasp

The clasp piece is shaped like a figure 8, with two loops and a metal pin between them. Once you fasten the strap, the free end tucks into a loop, so it stays hidden and never sticks out. That way it does not catch on your sleeve, glove or gear while you train. On your wrist, the strap looks like one continuous band with no overhanging end.

Soft, sweat-resistant silicone

The strap is made of soft, flexible silicone that adapts to the shape of your wrist. Sweat and water do not soak into the silicone, so after a workout, just rinse the strap and wipe it dry. That makes it suitable for sports as well as everyday wear, when your WHOOP stays on your wrist from morning to night.

Pin-and-hole closure

The metal pin snaps into one of the 8 holes on the longer piece of the strap. The holes cover wrist circumferences from 152 to 196 mm, a range of 44 mm, so moving the pin by one hole changes the circumference by roughly 6 mm on average. Because the position is set by a hole, you get the same fit every time you put the strap on. Before you buy, measure your wrist where you wear your WHOOP: the strap will not fit wrists under 152 mm or over 196 mm.

Zinc alloy frame

The sensor is held by a zinc alloy frame that wraps around its sides. The silicone also covers the top of the sensor, so what you see on your wrist is a smooth band between the silver edges of the frame. The silver frame and pin complement the white silicone, giving the whole strap a bright look.

Dimensions and weight

The strap consists of two silicone pieces: the piece with the figure-8 clasp measures 110 mm and the piece with the holes 148 mm. Both are 25 mm wide. The whole strap, including the frame, weighs 27.8 g. When choosing a size, what counts is the circumference range of 152 to 196 mm, not the combined length of the two pieces.
