Applicator

Privacy-filter tempered glass protects your iPhone display from scratches, everyday knocks and unwanted side glances. The new applicator speeds up installation and improves placement accuracy, so the glass sits straight without lengthy alignment. Two pieces in the box, which also makes sense as a spare for the next swap.

New applicator: quick seating of the glass in the right position and easier installation without sliding it around the display.
Privacy filter: content stays clearly readable from the front but is far harder to see from side angles.
2.5D edges: your finger glides more smoothly along the edge, which is most noticeable with edge gestures.
Oleophobic surface: limits fingerprint build-up and makes routine cleaning of the display easier.
Full coverage and case compatibility: the glass covers the important parts of the display while staying out of the way of most cases.

Ultra-thin frame!

The biggest problem with screen protectors is usually precise centering. The new applicator holds both the phone and the glass in the right position, so installation is faster and the risk of a crooked seat is lower. The difference is most noticeable on glass with a black frame and a privacy filter, where the position relative to the display is more visible than on clear glass.
The process also includes pulling off the application film, which helps remove tiny particles from the contact area. In practice that reduces the number of attempts when you need to lift and realign the glass. For users who only apply screen protectors occasionally, this system is significantly more reliable than classic hand installation without a frame.

Privacy and comfort with every unlock

The privacy layer reduces display visibility from side angles, so messages, banking apps or work data aren’t as easily visible to people around you. Viewed straight on, the image remains readable enough for normal work, reading and contactless payments. It makes the most sense on public transport, on the go or in an open-plan office where you often use your phone near other people.

A surface that stays cleaner for longer

The oleophobic and anti-fingerprint coating reduces grease and fingerprint smudges. The display stays readable for longer, and during routine cleaning you need less pressure and fewer cloth wipes. That matters even more for privacy glass, where every smudge reduces perceived image clarity more than on clear glass.

Display coverage without conflict with the case

Full Coverage protects most of the active display area including the edges, where the first scratches usually appear. At the same time, the glass is designed to remain compatible with most cases, so the edges don’t get lifted unnecessarily when the case is put on. That matters more than the widest possible glass at any cost – pressure from a poorly matched case is often the very reason for later peeling.

Durability that holds up over time

9H hardness and durable CSG glass help withstand contact with keys, small particles in your pocket and everyday wear. Tested with a 64 g steel ball dropped from 1.5 m and edge pressure resistance of up to 25 kg, which gives a more precise picture than the label “tempered glass” alone. It isn’t indestructible – it's a much wider safety margin against scratches and everyday bumps.

What the 9H rating actually expresses, why it is not the only indicator of a protector's durability and which tests go beyond that number, we explain in our article 9H Screen Protector Hardness.

Seven-layer protection

The seven-layer construction combines the tempered glass itself, functional surface layers and reinforced adhesive for stronger bonding to the display. Importantly, each layer addresses not only mechanical strength but also surface cleanliness, touch stability and long-term hold. This composition determines how the glass performs after several months of use, not just on day one after installation.
