The Mobile Origin Pioneer Strap is designed for both the standard and ECG versions of WHOOP 5.0. Its sporty two-tone design combines woven nylon with microfiber, and the strap fastens with a hook-and-loop closure for wrist circumferences from 150 to 225 mm. It weighs 19.2 g and is made for all-day wear, including workouts and sleep.

Designed for WHOOP 5.0

The frame is shaped to fit the WHOOP 5.0 sensor and accommodates both the standard version and the ECG version. Older WHOOP generations are not compatible with this strap, so before you buy, make sure you have the fifth generation. The sensor is sold separately; you simply insert the one you already use into the frame. The underside of the sensor stays exposed, so its sensing elements rest directly on your skin.

Two-tone sporty design

The strap consists of a soft woven nylon band, and a microfiber panel with raised ribbing is stitched onto its outer side next to the sensor. The olive green panel with orange stitching is paired with a green woven band with orange stripes and a silver frame. The combination of two materials and colors gives the strap a sporty look that suits both workouts and daytime wear.

Hook-and-loop closure

The strap fastens with a hook-and-loop closure: the end with the hooks presses onto the fabric and holds anywhere along its length. This lets you adjust the circumference smoothly between 150 and 225 mm, with no holes or fixed positions. Before a workout, you can quickly tighten the strap so the sensor does not move on your wrist, and then loosen it a little for the night.

Lightweight at 19.2 g

The strap weighs 19.2 g, frame included. WHOOP collects data around the clock, so the strap stays on your wrist all day, during workouts and while you sleep. Thanks to its low weight and the soft fabric on the inner side, it does not get in the way on your wrist, even at night.

Metal frame and dimensions

The sensor is held by a frame made of stainless steel and zinc alloy that wraps around it from the sides. Stainless steel resists corrosion, so the metal is not affected by sweat or everyday contact with your skin. The strap is 292 mm long and 23 mm wide. When choosing the size, however, what matters is the circumference range of 150 to 225 mm, not the length of the strap.
