The Mobile Origin nylon strap is designed for both the standard and the ECG version of WHOOP 5.0. Made of stretchy fabric, the strap fastens with a sliding rectangular buckle that lets you set the circumference anywhere from 146 to 235 mm. Weighing 13.3 g, it is well suited to wearing day and night.

Designed for WHOOP 5.0

The frame is shaped to fit the WHOOP 5.0 sensor and holds both the standard and the ECG version. Older WHOOP generations are not compatible with this strap, so before you buy, make sure yours is the fifth generation. The sensor is sold separately: just insert the one you already use into the frame. The underside of the sensor is left uncovered, so its sensing elements sit directly against your skin.

Stretchy fabric and sliding buckle

The strap is woven from a blend of polyester, nylon and elastane. The elastane gives the fabric its elasticity, so the strap stretches slightly when you bend your wrist and then returns to its original length. You set the circumference by sliding the rectangular buckle along the strap, adjusting it smoothly anywhere from 146 to 235 mm. The stretch comes in handy especially when your wrist size changes during the day, for example in warm weather or after a workout. The fabric has a subtle diagonal pattern, and on the burgundy version, both the frame and the buckle are silver.

Lightweight at 13.3 g

The strap weighs 13.3 g, including the frame and buckle. WHOOP collects data around the clock, and sleep is one of its main measurements, so the strap stays on your wrist at night as well. The light, stretchy fabric does not get in the way on your wrist, which is exactly why the strap is well suited to wearing overnight.

Metal parts and dimensions

The metal parts of the strap, namely the frame and the sliding buckle, are made of stainless steel and zinc alloy. Stainless steel resists corrosion, so the metal holds up to sweat and everyday contact with your skin. The strap is 235 mm long, including the metal parts, and 25 mm wide. When choosing a size, however, what matters is the circumference range of 146 to 235 mm, not the length of the strap.
